The only wear on the gun is the heel of the butt-plate where is has been scuffed on the ground. The straight grained wood shows handling. All metal and wood parts, no plastics in construction. A saddle ring and slide does double-duty as the lock side-plate. The bluing is 95% and it appears THIS GUN HAS NEVER BEEN FIRED, as no trace of brass transfer or powder exists. The trapdoor has a flawless release and catch for breach loading and is marked "Cavalry Model". The lock is highly polished as is the hammer. It is a single band carbine with a 21 in. ![]() The execution of craftsmanship of this gun is spectacular. 45-70 and made by Harrington & Richards (ca.1975) S/N S.A.31XX. This 1873 Springfield replica is chambered for. ![]()
